Mosaic Hair Studio Celebrates 25th Anniversary

12th December 2014
On Saturday, 31st May, Mosaic Hair Studio celebrated its 25th anniversary with a fun-filled day of party games and dressing up with all proceeds going to its charity of the year, the Brittle Bone Society.

Mosaic Hair is one of the most established hairdressers in St Albans. For 18 years the studio was situated on Holywell Hill in the centre of St Albans and for the last 7 years has been in its current location at The Quadrant in Marshalswick.

Fund raising activities on the day included a ‘Find the Treasure’ map of the world, with the nearest pin to the treasure winning a £55 voucher to spend in the salon. Fortified with specially designed Mosaic cupcakes and a glass of fizz, our sporting clients were prepared to don brightly coloured wigs, moustaches, glasses, noses and feather bowers for portraits with a difference. We made the local paper with a short report including a picture of Sandridge’s parish councillor, John Foster, wearing a sugar-pink, curly wig and a fetching pair of sunglasses, clearly enjoying the occasion alongside Mosaic’s owner, Sally.

Thanks go to all the members of the team, some of whom have been working at Mosaic for over 20 years, and to our generous clients who donated on the day.
