Mosaic Celebrates 25 Years In 1920s Style

12th October 2014
To celebrate our 25th year in business everyone at Mosaic was invited to a Murder Mystery evening held at the historic White Hart in the heart of St Albans. The evening was led by two actors playing the parts of Captain Bob Uppendown, and Baroness lona Fleet. Set in the 1920s, the evening was a chance for everyone to dress up in costumes including hair styles to match. There were several neat bobs, Marcelle waves and Great Gatsby styles.

Celebrations started with a glass of Prosecco and the three course menu gave everyone a wide selection of excellent food all served to the assembled ‘players’ in our own private dining room. Maddi took the part of Lady Bunting Hamilton and Leona and Annette had the unfortunately named roles of Tessa Pancake and Ophila Pain. In between courses, the evidence behind the murder unfolded and it turned out that Daryl Pancake, played by Richard killed the poor victim, Candy Cane.

The venue, reputedly the most haunted pub in St Albans, with its historic Tudor beams was the perfect setting for our celebrations as our first salon where we spent our first eight years in business was just along the road.
