CHARITY UPDATE
Supporting
the charity ASBAH (Assoication for Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus) Mosaic
raised £972.53 plus a further £97.75 in gift aid through various events in
2011. These included some of the team taking part in a sponsored walk/run and
on special occasions we served Mrs L’s delicious cakes and biscuits with the
salon refreshments. On the last day before Christmas the team had fun in fancy
dress and for a small donation the clients could vote for which outfit they
thought was most inspired.
We
wish to thank everyone who kindly donated to this worthy cause.
In
2012 we will be supporting BANA (British Acoustic Neuroma Association) An
Acoustic Neuroma is a benign brain tumour which in most, but not all, cases is
slow growing. BANA was formed in 1992 to offer help, advice and support those
affected by this condition.
